Roger Kasbo: Co-director and Head Trainer of English Riding Roger has a degree in Agricultural Engineering with a concentration in equine studies. He is a Grand Prix rider who has managed a national riding center with over 200 riders and 60 horses. He also has experience running his own private farm and hosting national horse shows in the Middle East. He has vast experience training riders of varying levels and helping them reach their goals. Horacio is from Argentina with degrees in Communications and Business. He worked in polo for several years in Houston, Texas. We look forward to him joining our team. Horacio will be overseeing our polo program including horse care, polo groups, and teaching lessons. Emerson Bilodeau: Interscholastic Team Coach
A New Hampshire native, Emerson learned to play polo at the former Seacoast Polo Club before playing polo at Cornell University. After college Emerson joined Boston Polo and is now the head coach for our Interscholastic Team. Abby Ruth: Verden Stables Founder & English Instructor Meet Abby, the woman in charge over at Verden stables. She and Tom Friedrich have worked together running their stable out of our facilities for the last couple of years. Abby is well known in the jumper community, producing multiple champions, zone finalists and riders who dominate their respected classes and divisions. Besides coaching she is also a fierce competitor who competed at venues such as Fieldstone, Aiken, Tryon and Hits. |
Tom Friedrich: Verden Stables & English Instructor Meet Tom, the co-owner of Verden stables who has done it all in the horse industry. Tom has been working within the industry for over 40 years, with experience in Western, Jumping, and Dressage. He has trained horses for events including the Grand Prix and holds a record of jumping 6.3 feet. |
Suzanne MacPhail: Hands to Healing counselor & English Instructor
Meet Suzanne, a licensed Massachusetts riding instructor since 2010. Suzanne teaches beginner, and intermediate rides on the basics of horsemanship. Suzanne is also a licensed mental health counselor and uses equine therapy in her private practice to treat effects of trauma. |
